Here’s the latest of my traveling pink work for Traveling Scarves Group #29 – Think Pink.
I got a beautiful seed from knittycent and was very pleased with how our two yarns melded together. She used a beautiful pattern from Stitchionary 1 – called anemone. I love it! I haven’t done much lacy work – so went with the yarn over’s and slip stitches in a Diagonal Lace pattern.
I can’t wait for my next seed to arrive!!!
I decided to join a traveling scarf group… and have joined the Think Pink group.
I sent my first seed piece off today! woo hoo
I knitted with variegated pink and light orange yarn that I love love love! (Steadfast Fibers – Wonderful Wool- Color: Sunset) I tried a diagonal lace pattern- which was fun and looks pretty neat.
Last night I had a blast knitting with the girls from the Ravelry “Sox Knitter” group! It was a really enjoyable evening and it was great to meet the girls! I look forward to the next one!!!!
